Your economy rides the lane

Build outside your control zone and the cost doesn't teleport — a mass driver lobs it across the map as 25-Matter lumps that anyone can shoot down. Expansion is a supply line, and supply lines are targets.

In numbers: shipments carry 25 M each, crawl at lump speed, and die to a single turret burst.

Energy · interception

Logistics you can shoot

Turrets don't just guard walls — they snipe enemy shipments and shoot artillery shells out of the sky. Volon fuels long-range artillery whose slow, telegraphed shells are just as interceptable. Every attack is an object on the field, and every object can be answered.

In numbers: turrets deal 20 DPS at range 160; artillery shells cost 25 Volon and can be shot down mid-flight.

Doctrine · one dial, not APM

You decide. Automation clicks.

One stance dial — Economy, Aggression, Fortify — drives your automation. No control groups, no build-order piano, no 200 APM tax. The player who reads the board better wins, not the one who clicks faster.

In numbers: three resources (Matter, Energy, Volon), one dial, zero hotkey drills.

One lane, mirrored start, everything visible on a single screen. Here's how a typical game against Marshal VEKT unfolds.

    Build-out

    Extractors on your home Matter lodes, a reactor for the grid, pylons stretching your control zone toward the rich mid-lane lodes.

  2. ~2:00

    First convoy raids

    Both sides are shipping Matter forward — and sniping each other's shipments. Every lump shot down is income denied.

  3. ~4:00

    The pivot

    Sideline Volon lodes come into play: artillery fuel. Doctrine dials swing — greed for the mid, push with guns, or turtle behind shield arcs.

  4. 8:00

    Flux Surge

    All Stargate charge rates double. Spires glow, the race goes public, and someone has to commit.

  5. End

    Gate charged — or gone

    Charge your Stargate to 100% to summon the fleet, or collapse the enemy's first. Then the debrief tells you why.

Built for people who hate the APM tax

If you love base-builders but bounced off ladder RTS because winning meant mechanical speed, this is aimed at you. In Fortress Commander your hands are never the bottleneck: automation handles the clicking, the doctrine dial expresses your intent, and every placement is a considered decision, not a reaction test.

Three AI commanders — raid-biased Marshal VEKT, all-in rusher KANE, and counter-battery turtle BULWARK — each telegraph a different doctrine to read and punish.

Slide toward Economy and your builders greed. Slide toward Aggression and your guns creep forward. Slide toward Fortify and shields go up. You think; it clicks.

Know exactly why you won or lost

  • Dual charge curves with event markers replay the whole match at a glance.
  • Highlights call out the turning points — the convoy you lost at 3:40 mattered, and the debrief says so.
  • Full stat table: peak income, matter shipped, shipments shot down, shells intercepted, structures lost.
